As part of the Q2 Partner Accelerator Program, financial institutions can purchase Spiral and offer its solution to their account holders through the Q2 Digital Banking platform, enabling customers to drive community and environmental impact through everyday purchases, round-up card transactions, monthly charitable giving subscriptions, and tax-deductible donor-advised funds.

We're excited to announce that Jim Vasquezi has joined our team as the new Chief Revenue Officer at Spiral. With over 20 years of leadership experience in banks, fintech, and financial institutions and a track record of building high-performing teams, Jim is the perfect addition to our team as we continue our mission to empower millions of people and companies to contribute to a better world.
Jim's passion for the critical role that financial institutions play in their communities has been a driving force throughout his career. He has held leadership roles at some of the most recognizable brands in fintech, including Fiserv, Digital Insight (now NCR), Finastra, Curinos, and Feedzai. He has experience working with banks and credit unions of all sizes and has a track record of building highly engaged and high-performing sales and account management teams that focus on building value for the company, its customers, and ultimately, their customers or members.
Jim holds an MBA from Assumption College and resides with his wife outside of Atlanta, GA. He has two beautiful daughters. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching college and pro football and basketball, and Broadway trips. Jim is also passionate about various causes, including cancer prevention and treatment, ending childhood hunger, DE&amp;I, equal justice, and Broadway Cares.

We are thrilled to announce our $28 million Series A round led by Team8 with additional funding from Euclidean Capital and Intuition Fund, Communitas Capital, Phoenix, and Nidoco AB. This brings our total funding to $42 million and gives us a powerful foundation to accelerate the future of our groundbreaking Impact-as-a-Service&trade; platform, which is transforming the financial industry for the greater good.
As our first impact-driven product, we launched a socially responsible consumer banking app in 2021, which grew to 65,000+ customers and $65 million in transactions in less than a year. After witnessing its rapid growth, we saw that rather than offering an independent banking app, the greatest value would be to partner with other financial institutions. The early success illustrates the urgency in which banks and credit unions need to incorporate access to impact-driven and ESG-forward banking, and demonstrates how offerings like this tremendously help with customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. We realized that our innovative impact products are game-changer differentiators for banks, credit unions, and financial institutions that want to lead the market and give back to their communities while increasing their revenues and expanding their customer base.
